There was a saying that came to mind for me on Wednesday when we began the boot camp...
"Adapt and overcome".
We had more sloppy conditions which limited our ability to use any grass, but we adapted the boot camp class to keep everyone relatively dry and overcame the limitations. We got a lot accomplished and I am receiving some great feedback from people thus far. Keep up the great work everyone.
I saw more sad, agonizing faces on Wednesday and nothing makes me happier than seeing people work hard even when the task seems daunting and the body screams "NO!".
For those who are cruising along, that is outstanding. You will hopefully act as a becon of light and some inspiration for those who have some catching up to do. No time exercising is a wasted effort and even when you're not "in the hurt locker", you can rest assured that your body is gonna thank you tomorrow, next week and years from now for your consistent and positive influence on it's physiological foundation.
See everyone tonight(Friday),

Fitness Boot Camp - Update
I wanted to thank those who made it out to Boot Camp Day One and apologize to anyone who was looking for us at "Central Park". There was a misprint on the Coupon and was supposed to say "centralized park". So anyways, the camp is running behind the Royal Saskatchewan Museum in the Park shown here:

For those who made it out, we saw some long faces as well as some high energy. The workout today wasn't meant to kill anyone, but I think there were some challenges and everyone stepped up to meet them head on. We worked full body today through some light rain, soggy ground and mosquitos, but no complaints anywhere. Hope everyone can make it out for Day Two, WEDNESDAY.
